As mentioned in the title, yes, the most powerful M3 and M4 will reach 510HP with the Competition Package. In addition, fuel consumption combined should be 10.9–10.5 l/100 km (25.9 – 26.9 mpg) and CO2 emissions: 249–239 g/km (preliminary data). This is a significant increase in performance vs. the predecessor models and ecology(+ economy). The new sports cars are completely different: we are dealing with a new engine (S58), suspensions, brakes and other technologies.

BMW M3 and M4: what we know so far
The 2020 BMW M3 and M4 are offered in two performance levels: the first is a 353 kW/480 hp variant with a 6-speed manual shift. Second is the Competition model with 375 kW/510 hp and an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.

Compared with the predecessor models, the engine output offers an increase of 36 kW/49 hp and 44 kW/60 hp (Competition models). The maximum torque should be up to 650 Nm.
All we have to do is to wait and save money for mid-September 2020 for the world premiere.
