The new Alfa Romeo’s sports car flagship, the Giulia Gran Turismo Alleggerita (GTA) and GTAm were only presented a few weeks ago that a 3D artist, Mikołaj Majcherek was curious enough to see how the Giulia DTM would look like. Text: Luca W. © Photos: Alfa Romeo © Mikołaj M. ©

Based on the 155 V6 Ti, seen in the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix, the GTAm render does its effect. It impresses, brings back nostalgia and gives hope. In fact the 1993 DTM champion is a direct inspiration for a few elements. The front bumper, from instance, with its two large entries, the immense side skirts or black rims. Nonetheless, the sponsors are the big reminder of the glorious 155 V6 Ti and perfectly fit to the Giulia.

The 155 V6 Ti is the replacement of the 155 GTA, with the famous 90° V6 developping 430 HP (480 later on) at 12’000 RPM.

Will we, by any chance, see this kind of car on a track? Only Alfa Romeo can confirm to come back to DTM with the Giulia. While waiting, do not hesitate pay a visit to Mikołaj Instagram page (or Artstation). There are plenty of beautiful renders that can bring stars to our eyes.
